Whosoever said “opposites attract” couldn’t be more spot on. I mean what else could explain a Doggy Dog person being completely floored by a…er…Cat. Honestly a cat as a pet is just so not me but here I am smitten by this 2 month old kitten.
Sultan. Yes we call him Sultan, officially became our family member this very morning. A gift from my older sibling to my 7 year old nephew for his fantabolous on stage dance performance at a recently held school annual function. And even though technically Sultan is my nephew’s responsibility – it is yours truly who has been handed the potty training duty. Why? Because the family thinks when it comes to getting/giving/cleaning…basically anything to do with crap, there can be no one better than moi. I know reality bites.
In case you are wondering, yes naming him “Salman” was my inclination but then decided not since the name sounds a little misfit for a boy we want to raise as a healthy metrosexual feline. Plus this would only give another excuse to those controversy sluts for stirring Aamir-dog-Shahrukh sorta fiasco. And our boy is just too young for the limelight…all in good time, whot say?
Plus there are bigger worries. For starters, introducing Sultan to the pooches of the house. Not really sure how they are going to take it, especially Spike but I have my fingers crossed.
Will keep you guys updated, till then….here’s a little of the little Sultan.

Totally understand. For the longest time I thought I was a strictly dogs person. But cats have a way of warming your heart. Sigh.

A cat in the hitherto dog-loving Juneja household? Methinx this portends dire deeds to come.
