Now it is clear that none of the girls who were manhandled at the Mangalore Pub by the Sene men had the moral courage to lodge a complaint against those men!
Pray, why? Obviously because they belonged to the 'Izzatdar Khandaans!'
But where was their 'Izzat' when they were shamelessly revelling with their male counterparts guzzling alcohol?
It's sad to know that instead of emulating the Etiquettes, manners and Chivalrous attitude of the Englishmen, these Capital 'C' young apers of our country have opted for their Pub habits in the name of culture.Little do they know that the Englishmen have a strong digestive capability to 'Hazamofy' alcohol and they seldom trespass their limits. On the other hand our young monkeys often get sozzled to their fins to the extent that their brains literally float within their thick skulls! This is obvious by the number of times these pests get arrested for drunken driving and car accidents wherein innocent poor people are often killed. It is high time that these wayward spolt rich brats realise that 'Mor ke pankh laganese,Kauva mor nahin ban jaata!
Iam at my wit's end to understand as how can the so called 'Izzatdar Khandaani' families allow their 'Ghar ki Izzat' to stay out at the odd hours of nights!
My advice to those pub frequenters;First learn the 'Gentlemanly'attitude of the pub culture of the 'Angraze Sahib' and develop their strong constitution as wll or else it would end in a farce that would substantiate the following local Mumbaiya jargon: 'G--d me nahin Goo ;Hagne chala Juhu!

Now do you know why NCW is silent ?
This the truth what NCW investigations said.
If the girls feel they were not doing anything wrong why are they
afraid to come forward and give a statement? When I met the culprits
and asked for the names or numbers of at least one girl they refused
saying they do not want to defame these girls. They say girls of some
of the big shots are involved.

. What is the outcome of your visit?

A. We visited the place and found that basically the pub that was
attacked had no security. Anybody could just walk in or walk out. I
have learnt from sources that there was live band going for which
there was no permission. We have examined the documents and we are
not happy with the answers given by the management. What has happened
there is unfortunate but the management has no right to run the pub.
My visit will certainly have a positive impact with regard to the
safety and security of women in Mangalore.

A. What is your assessment of the incident?

B. We have found that some illegal activities are going on in some
hotels and pubs in Mangalore, including prostitution. We conducted a
surprise raid on one of the hotels and found that not everything was
going on legally.

Q. With these findings what are going to be your recommendations to
the government?

A. National Commission for Women will recommend the cancellation of
license of this pub. The pub was given license to serve food for the
lodge. They did not have the license to have a live band. They did
not have the basic requirement of appointing a security guard.

Q. But this is not the basic issue people are concerned about. The
main issue is whether it was right on the part of the self-styled
moral policemen to attack women?

A. In fact I have met the 27 culprits who are locked up in the sub
jail. They have apologized saying it was not their intention to
attack women. They wanted the live band to be stopped but somehow it
went out of hand. I am shocked that an incident has occurred in
Mangalore. It is disgusting to know women were beaten up.

Q. You have failed to meet any of the women victims who were attacked.
Does it signify your failure?

A. Women should protect themselves. They should have come forward and
filed a complaint. So far no girl or their parents have come forward
to file a complaint. If the girls feel they were not doing anything
wrong why are they afraid to come forward and give a statement? When
I met the culprits and asked for the names or numbers of at least one
girl they refused saying they do not want to defame these girls. They
say girls of some of the big shots are involved. But at no stage I
can condone their grotesque act of beating women in public.

Q. It gives an impression that you have developed a soft corner for
the culprits….

A. No. I recommend that the culprits should be given the harshest
punishment possible for taking the law in their hands and violating
the basic rights of women. They should be charged under section 307
and should not be spared at any cost.

Q. Do you feel the police have done their duty impartially?

A. I think the police have done what they could do under the
circumstances. They have arrested the culprits and IGP has kept us
informed about the steps they have taken in this regard.

Q. Finally what have you realized from this incident?

A. In our country the normal mindset is men protect women when the
situation demands. Here the situation has reversed and we will see
what best can do to ensure such incidents are curbed altogether.

Hubli: "Sri Rama Sene activists just pushed around women who were
drinking at the Mangalore pub. But if Durga Sene had led the attack,
we would have beaten them with slippers.'' Not Pramod Mutalik speaking
but Manchaleshwari Naik, leader of Durga Sena, the SRS women's wing.

This 24-year-old leader has been its state convener since it was
formed seven years ago. She not only shares Mutalik's thoughts, but
her feelings about those who violate mores of Indian culture seem to
be more intense.

She is currently involved in sending pink saris to the group that's
trying to send pink chaddis to Mutalik. She thinks it's the most
polite yet fitting reply. According to her, over 950 women have
already registered with the Durga Sena to send saris.

She strongly condemned the pink chaddi idea. "It's not an insult to
Mutalik or the SRS. It is an insult to Indian culture," she said. The
group should be ashamed, she said. She feels strongly about
Valentine's Day. "That's not part of Indian culture. We will not let
any boy and girl celebrate it," she said.

She will organize a protest against Valentine's Day in Bijapur. Durga
Sena activists will also see that those caught celebrating will either
be asked to get married or turned over to the police.

Born in Bijapur, Naik is married to a cloth merchant in Hukkeri. The
homemaker was an ABVP activist in college.

That we have reduced ourselves to parasites feeding on the putreying shit of the west is undisputedly proved by the way our present imbecile generation of youths are blindly aping the west!Of course,Pramod Muthalik or any Goddam person has absolutely no right in dictating his terms on anybody behind the facade of 'Morality'.This is a gross infringement in the private affair of an Independent Citizen in a Democratic country where 'Freedom of thought,Expression and opinion is held in high regard..But pray;is pub culture where youngsters go and get sozzled and indulge in indecent and obscene acts any better?
I myself have been witness to many such incidents wherein group of youngsters comprising of both sexes have visited Pubs and after quaffing enough alcohol to swell their gills have indulged in shameless, brazen orgy!
Is that what you call a culture?
Strange but true that most of those youths who advocate 'Pub-Culture' and masquerade themselves as the Protagonists of this 'Pub- Culture are the ones who refuse to marry a female pursuing this so called 'Pub-Culture' on the pretext that ther arent virgins!!!
As for the females who revel in this blind aping of the west, they have unwittingly reduced themselves akin to whores but with the only difference that they need not be paid for getting laid!
And who do you think goes to these Pubs?Of course rich & high middleclass kids. Most of them are the ofsprings of those who have accumulated illgotten wealth or thosewho are nouveau riche. To state in slang words;they are 'Bigade huve Baap ki Bigdi Hui Aulaad!'
Have you ever seen a scion of truly culutured and genuinely rich Industrialist or entrepreneur visiting these pubs?May be in some rare cases there might be some males but I dare to show me any female from such families!
These rudderless youths who are priding themselves today as belonging to 'Pub-Culture are here today and gone tomorrow! They are the last ones to make any History.
I have nothing against these brainless and wayward kids from presenting 'Pink Chuddies' to members of 'Ram Sene' 'because it is the only thing they wear and remove from their lower torso every now and then and it is the only thing their warped intellect can afford!

Muthalik should be condemned and must be put in jail. But, sending Pink chaddis as gift and publicising and hyping this reaction in Media is cheap and ridiculous. There are better ways to protest him, just as we tell him to protest in a better way. This way, you and him are no different, using cheap methodsfor publicity.
I am sorry for being arrogant, but thats what I feel.
BTW, I really feel sorry, for the times girls and women are facing. Don't get me wrong, I am not pitying, I have sisters and nieces too.

I am sorry for being arrogant, but thats what I feel.
BTW, I really feel sorry, for the times girls and women are facing. Don’t get me wrong, I am not pitying, I have sisters and nieces too.

HA HA! Nice! I really think those moral police people need a treatment. Its 21st century, and India has been able to keep alive its tradition after all these years. Even in those rich bollywood movies with the high society melodrama and stuff, the values and traditions are still shown there. We still marry the same way. They still goto the mandir in the same way. So where have we lost our values which they talk about? They should start minding their own business and worry less about the "female having a drink at the pub" thing. If men are allowed to drink why not women. They talk about equality so where is it? Aren't they allowed to have it? :P And besides V Day is a festival of sharing love, do they mean to oppose the celebration of love? What are we some sort of love haters? :P Peace...and yeah Jai Ho the Pink Chaddi Campaign
