Stuck in My Head

…..more precisely in my ‘every morning must hear’ music list.

  • Lazy Lamhe – Yes from the very forgetful film Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic. Only bit worth remembering is this song and for this achievement entire credit should be given to Ms. Amisha Patel. Or rather her scientifically enhanced boobies (and their very first brush with fame). Surprising no, in Bollywood it still pays to be Pro-Siliconic. It simply refuses to go out of fashion.

  • Emotional Atyachar – Whosoever coined this phrase is a genius with a capital G. A perfect dedication to all those pain in the arse Romeos (& Juliets). Also apna Anurag Kashayp looks to be back in full-form after the disastrous No Smoking. Then again with multiplex films ka master, Abhay Deol as the main lead in Dev D one can’t go much wrong. (Ps – The video is equally mind-blowing)

  • Maahi – Say what you may but there is some canny connection between Mr. Pakora face uff Emraan Hashmi and Chartbuster Music. And his forthcoming film Raaz – The Mystery Continues is no exception. I am absolutely hooked on both; original & the rock version of Maahi.

  • Amazing – If you are a Hip Hop fanatic then Kanye West’s Amazing is a must have. But then so are his other smash hits like Love Lockdown, Heartless, Homecoming & Stronger. Anyhoo what makes this particular track special is its ‘over confidant Gansta’ feel. A definite ego booster during shitty days.

I’m amazin’…Yeah I’m all that

Such is its influence that I have made it my resolution for the year 2009.

  • Big in Japan – One simple can’t have enough of the 80s. Be it Bollywood films, Fashion Trends or Pop Music. Heard this track Alphaville at a club couple of weeks ago and it’s been stuck in my head, my iPhone & in my car’s CD system ever since.

This is pretty much from me….what you been listening to, obsessively?

I agree on Mahi, its a beautiful composition and also it’s sung by Toshi(of Star Voice of India fame) and music is composed by his bro, Sayeed Quadri. They are absolutely mindblowing, and I am a huge fan of Toshi’s, hez got an amazing voice.
The other songs I fell in love with last year were, Viva la Vida by Coldplay, I kissed a Girl by Katy Perry and Ehsaan from Dil Kabaddi……oh there are so many more!

On TEIO after a looooong time. Absolutely love this new look, including that skyline on top, and it’s much more friendly to the eyes. I guess I’ll be in minority on that, but I for one really loved this new look and feel.

And we’re on the same page on Emosonal atyaachaar. What is happening to me (or you)? I guess I can take heart in the potshot you took at that absolutely genius movie. :D. All is not lost.

cheers,
asuph.
