It’s not even funny any longer. On a related note, apparently the Mumbai area garbage-disposal is being contracted out to a private firm. While the move is expected to improve the cleanliness situation dramatically, the downside is that the rag-pickers will be out of luck now that garbage will be compacted resulting in no more creative re-cycling.
