Amrita : I guess whenever a movie is made on a sensitive topic such as Politics, Riots..etc many of these critics somehow feel obligated to give them rave reviews, even when not deserved. The film ended up being more about the Mahatma rather than his son. I guess the script lost its focus somewhere in between. The only worthy mention was Akshay Khanna. I think a lot of the plaudits came because a lot of the critics felt that this is a movie one <i>ought</i> to admire. Oh well - next!
