Review Film Aap Ka Suroor: Bhago Bhoot Himesh Aaya.

Himesh Reshammiya‘s Aap Ka Suroor – The Real Luv Story in my opinion is THIRD CLASS. And no wonder it’s on its way to become one of the biggest hits of 2007.

On the related topic, a sequel to this seriously sad horror flick is in the pipelines and for some god forsaken reason I am beginning to miss Kishan Kumar. Kindly pray for my sanity.

Bakwaas movie. Terrific songs and simply mind blowing cinematography.
But you cant compare Kishan kumar to Himesh bhai. Kishan Kumar is a “Bhaskar award ” winner. How can you compare AKS to classics like Aaja meri Jaan, Papa the great.

Ran thru the entire movie in about 20 minutes. Just kept forwarding it. I actually started liking his singing after hearing him deliver the dialogues.

And about the acting, Ive started missing Sumeet Saigal, or on a more contemporary note – Uday Chopra.

It was a pathetic movie. cinematography was excellent.. few of the songs were very good.. Himesh claims that the movie got biggest opening in 2007 but it hasn’t. Only 10 crores.. infact Apne was more than this, it earned 13 crores in first week.. (check http://www.boxofficeindia.com for the info on it)

Top first week openers of 2007 are as follows:

1.Guru
2.Jhoom Barabar Jhoom
3.Tara Rum Pum
4.Shootout at Lokhandwala
5.Salaam-E-Ishq

check more details here: http://www.ibosnetwork.com/asp/curyearopenings.asp

So claims by Aapka Suroor Guys are false, it is one of the marketing tactics..

cheers
Deep
