Did We Pardy or What!

Firstly let me start by giving out the mandatory “thank you” speech. Melody….my partner in crime, you are a Rock Star, thanks for taking care of all the minor (and major) party issues while allowing me to sit back take all the luft lutf (* Thanks Twilightji).

Would also like to thank the management of Sejos for allowing us to twist their arms to the max so that we bloggers could get the most viable deal out of them. And last but not the least, a BIG thank you to all those who turned up (and a boo-hoo to those who couldn’t make it)….I had one heck of a time and am sure our bash would put all those Bollywoodish…Page 3 parties to shame.

Without any further a due, here are some “Kodak Moments”……

Some pointers from last night’s event –

Mumbai Bloggers are freaking Time Guards.

Strangers became friends (and some friends behaved like total strangers – ya we had those kinds too).

Mumbai Boys are really gentlemen-like. And Mumbai women are hot.

Blog Party Thumb Rule – Never discuss blogs.

This man asked, “Are you known in the Blog circle? Never heard about you?” – Hell Ya, I am known….gosh what else do I need to do to spread my celebritiness.

And Finally……

Never have Long Island(s) on an empty stomach.

Link - Love : Bloggers/Non-Bloggers who made their presence felt…..

Melody, Piyush Jha, Aditya, Bombay Addict, Saurabh Nanda, Shiju Thomas, n, eM, Amit Varma, Sumit, Vivek, Kaushal Kharkanis, Kapil, Roshan, Kanishka, Avantika, Pensive Lawyer, Querida, Chronicus Skepticus, Akshay Mahajan, Gaurav, Davendra Gera, Piyush Bedi, Pankaj, The Calumnist and Ergo. (Few names missing here….kindly accept my apology but its bloody 8 in the morning and I really need to get a life some sleep).

The Missing Links :

Roshan, Rajan, Jigal, Arjun, Rishi, Lavanya & Deepak, Moksh, Mohit and Ravi.

1)What was the age of the youngest(I know you guys are not old but I mean like the youngest among the youngest) person present in the party?

2) “Are you known in the Blog circle? ”

What yaar,so you have to be famous to attend a blog meet?

Roshan - Good to know you enjoyed yourself. Hope to see you often at such events. :)

Abhinav - Youngest guy was Jigar, 20 years old. And “no” you don’t have to be known to attend but once you atten you are known. ;)

Blog Party Rule #2 : There will always be more “non-bloggers” than bloggers at a blog meet.

Amrita - Ya rite, the LIT from your end was actually the one that got me into trouble. ;)

Patrix and Twilight - Not that I didn’t want to place the Id tags but it’s just that there were some who didn’t want their off-line identity to be revealed.

Pensive Lawyer, Bombay Addict & Chronicus Skepticus - The pleasure was all ours. Glad to know you guys had a good time. :)

Kaushal - Thanks. It’s good you cleared the air. ;)

Twilight Fairy, how was the meet?I missed it due to other engagements but I still think a “blog walk” sounds like a weird idea.

Abhinav, it was great fun! BTW errr.. blog walk? No we dont walk our blogs..but we do blog our walks :p :).

It was more of a history walk + photography + meeting.. after which we proceeded for refreshments + dinner. There sure are takers for everything.. and were for this as well. But then this isnt a permanent feature in all DBM’s.. we keep changing it to keep it interesting..

Amazing party, even better time, etc etc, I don’t think there are any compliments left, all have been used up. Where can I get my hands on the rest of the snaps? And yes, have you linked everyone who had wandered in and gone ballistic with their digi cams? Especially with the flash on full power? (Wait till I get this baby . Actually I would have had it by now if my dealer hadn’t forgotten I was collecting my new cam and accessories on Tuesday). I wanted some of the snaps taken by them. See you at the blog camp.

Looks like an awesome party! Sad I had to miss it… sure would’ve been fun to get to know those two pretty brown-haired girls!

Is there any chance of identifying the people in the pictures? Would be nice to know their names.
