Hi,
I am part of DreamIndia and have been closely monitoring Avi’s condition. He was again admitted in a hospital on the 23rd of this month. This place is called Dr Joshi’s Divine Heart and Brain Trauma Center (It s in the Godbole hospital in Thane) at Naupada, Thane W. The doctor has admitted Avinash in his ICU free of charge. We have also arranged for 5 sittings of Oxygen therapy for him at the Port Trust Hospital at Wadala. This is expected to improve the condition of his brain, which does not respond at all at the moment. Currently we are bearing the expenses of Avinash’s food, medicines, and the oxygen therapy, not to mention the daily ambulance charges from Thane to Wadala and back.
With regular physiotherpy, the boy situation w.r.t his limbs and bones has definitely improved. He is a lot more flexible now than even 2 weeks back. And opens his eyes wider than before, but still doesnt respond to commands… Time will give an answer as he is subjected to more of the O2 therapy.

Will keep ya guys updated as and when there are new developments.

Shadows : Well the answer was typical, “Human body….you never know when it may give up”. But from what we have heard and were told (from outsiders), technically an Angioplasty should be done before a heart surgery however in my uncles case the doctors did so after the heart operation plus they discharged him just few days after the surgery and Angioplasty….any of this could have been the reason for the stroke.

I’m a nobody for you..however I’m a regular reader of your site’s content.

Thanks for sharing this info Sakshi..

We all are busy in our own daily life and issues like this sumtimes go un-noticed.

Kudos to you mam for bringing it to attention.
