Sunday night out with family to watch this Friday’s release Kya Love Story Hai starring yesteryear’s superstar Jeetandra, also fondly known as Jumping Jack.
40 minutes into the film and we were literally running out of the cinema hall, screaming “Bhago Tusshar aaya….bhago Tusshar aayaâ€. No jokes boss, I am dead serious after ages have I walked out on a Bollywood film, last being Mallika Sherawat and Dharmendra starrer Kis Kis Ki Kismat.
Frankly speaking, I thought Tusshar Kapoor had come a long way as an actor. His performance in film Golmaal was fantastic and he did stand out against the likes of Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan in cop thriller Khakee. But I guess he is not worth “solo hero projects†because he totally lacks the star charisma and skills required to take on the entire responsibity. So my advice to him would be to stick to multi-starrer flicks and thereby save himself from the embarrassment of failures.
If in case he stills insists on playing the solo lead than I think he should start starring in his sister’s saas-bahu sagas, kyunki didi Ekta Kapoor ke raaj mein sab chalta hai.
However thanks to some good karma our Sunday outing wasn’t a complete a disaster. We were lucky enough to slid in (without valid tickets) for the screening of a laugh riot Mr. Bean’s Holiday, ahh…the benefits of going to a multiplex.
Mr. Rowan Atkinson, I salute you. And I truly believe Mr. Bean should be officially titled the “eighth†wonder of the world.
So the moral of the story is: Chuck everything else and watch Mr. Bean’s Holiday.
