Hindu Girls Victims of Fanaticism

Caste, creed, religion; an age-old battle that has stirred anguish and conflict amongst Indians and other communities the world over for centuries. The Hindu-Muslim saga never has and never seems to find an amicable end. Be it within our own country or our neighboring ones, every other argument is blamed on religion, racism and the likes. Sadly, today fanaticism seems to dominate over faith.

Recently I stumbled upon a Metro UK article titled ‘Hindu girls targeted by extremists’. This piece of information reveals how Muslim extremists are compelling teenage Hindu girls to convert to Islam! It seems young students get beaten up and are forced to abandon their courses by Islamic extremists. They invite girls on dates and begin campaigns of terrorism until they convert! To make matters even more unbearable is that Muslim boys are offered a commission of five thousand pounds in order to carry out their jobs to perfection.

Ramesh Kallidai, from the Hindu Forum of Britain, said: ‘Extremist Muslims make life miserable for Hindu girls’.

‘Some are petrified; they feel these men have complete hold on them. One girl was beaten up in the street and others have been forced to leave university.’

‘The problem was most common in cities such as Birmingham, Leeds and Bradford, he added, while London universities had ‘at least two or three cases’ each’.

The National Union of Students said it did not want to discriminate against Muslims but agreed some extremists were causing concern.

They have managed to infiltrate Brunel University in West London, Bedfordshire University, Sheffield Hallam University and Manchester Metropolitan University, according to a Muslim charity.

Shocking is not the word! In this day and age when the world talks of equality between woman and man, where progression and technology is hitting every nook and corner, where the girl child is given prominence, freedom and encouragement to develop in any and every way; then why are we are still faced with this kind of atrocity!

Forcing a person to do anything out of their will is unacceptable. It’s unnerving to discover that this treatment towards women has existed for sometime now and colleges and universities have turned a blind eye in concern to cases like these.

Well its high time Scotland Yard pulls up their socks and takes rigorous action against these human brutalities. We live in a Democratic society and forcing women to convert in the name of religion cannot be tolerated! It’s the worse possible degradation inflicted upon humanity and must be stopped under any and every circumstances! I pray these extremists are caught and brought to justice before many more young lives are ruined by these bastards.

They will turn a blind eye, cos it is the Muslims who are involved. Any action and the terrorists will strike them. And of course, its not secular, is it?
Well, this is just the tip of the iceberg, Sakshi.

i have been here for a long while, i have never heard this news here. My cousins go to college[Birmingham]. Even they do not know about this, nor has my cousin sister faced any such problems neither her friends, nor did my cousin brother know.Infact here rules are very strict for muslim fanatics unless they are christian fanatics. A lot of christian missionaries will approach you for conversion i dont know on what basis.A lot of my friends have had the same experience i guess they attempt it only on asians but what makes me curious is that even asians are christians, what happens when they approach a christian asian?
