So what if the inflation has gone up and everything else in life is at its low. But not to worry my dear ones, doggy food will cost a lot cheaper now.
“I have good news for cat and dog lovers,” Finance Minister P Chidambaram said on Wednesday announcing duty reduction on pet foods.
“I propose to reduce the duty on pet foods from 30 per cent to 20 per cent,” he said presenting the 2007-08 Budget in the Lok Sabha.
This announcement invoked mild protests from certain members to which Speaker Somnath Chatterjee quipped “don’t you like dogs?”
Hey Buddy now don’t frown. I mean seriously don’t you like dogs?

Sakshi,
Yeah, like every other year !! Hopeless.
Other stuff apart, let us just talk about taxes. Every year taxes used to be simplified. This b***dy FM hasnt done any major tax reforms in this tenure, as compared to his previous term as FM. (age catching up with him at last, it seems). Uninspiring. And frankly, I really dont understand this legal mumbojumbo that tax officials use.
