Jhande Ka Funda : What’s Up Mr. Bachchan?

Bachchan’s once again!

Well, well, well; if it isn’t the mighty Bachchan’s in the news yet again! This time it’s got nothing to do with any prestigious award ceremony or his bizarre pad-yatra or even to highlight his acting skills in recent movies.

This time his plush bungalows ‘Prateeksha’ located at Juhu and ‘Jalsa’ in Juhu Scheme are hogging the limelight. For sometime now both these Bachchan properties have been hailing our national flag high up in the sky.

When asked about the latest development in his premises, Amitabh Bachchan says, “I fly the national flag over all my properties. Every Indian has the right and liberty to do so.

As usual different sources have different gossips to offer. While one Four Bungalow resident says it’s been up since January 14th; i.e. the announcement of the grand Aishwarya and Abhishek engagement. The bungalow watchman declares that it’s been up for the past three months now.

When asked the man himself, big B states that it’s been up for over a year now and wishes every other building in India would fly the flag.

Yes indeed a very noble deed on behalf of the Bachchan parivaar. They are just portraying patriotism in its true spirit, or could this have anything to do with strengthening his position as a potential candidate for President of India. Following all government regulations concerning the propriety and protocol of flying the flag is not a bad idea to gain popularity with the masses.

This time around I just hope it’s got nothing to do with to-be-bahu Aishwarya’s manglik horoscope; like getting her married to our Tri-color jhanda….nah….no more speculations from my side!
