Aap Mujhe Vote Doh…..

The recent BMC elections in Mumbai I guess in some ways have been a blessing in disguise for me. So kindly excuse if you think some of the mentioned statements, promises, etc sound re-hashed and/or recycled.

Let me start by saying the utmost ghasa-pita line in Indian politics – “Aap mujhe vote doh or mein aapko aur dumdar posts dene ka vaada karti hoon”. (Sorry! But this is the best offer I could think off).

Indibloggies 2006

It’s great to know Indibloggies jury members and many other blog readers found TEIO a worthwhile read and therefore have nominated in two categories namely; Best Design Indiblog (guess choosing a gaudy color theme isn’t that bad at all) and Best Entertainment Indiblog (I am 100% sure Rakhi Sawant has something to do with this).

Now when it comes to making promises desi-ishtyle….

1. For the men-folk, I shall carry out Interviews of leading Bollywood ladies who cant act but still have loads to offer otherwise.

2. For Shah Rukh Khan Fans, I promise only to sing praises of his inflated ego.

3. For patriotic Indians, Shilpa Shetty is now my role-model and I shall do my best to promote her satya-vati Indian values onto my blog readers.

4. For my fellow Bollywood Keedas, I promise to circulate and spread more true and even more not-true Industry gossips.

5. For Rakhi followers, I promise to further instigate The Sawant Phenomena on the desi-blogosphere. And yes, an interview with the queen is on the cards.

6. Last but not the least, inorder to prove myself a worthy political candidate I shall and I will mould, manipulate, forget all of the above as per my convenience.

So Vote for Me and only me because “mein hi hoon right choice baby – Aha!”.
