I dont live in Bombay, so we don't get even the few English songs you get with your larger selection of radio stations. Apparently listeners of English songs are a far smaller group than I would have thought (even in the large metros). And both MTV and Channel V began with a good mix of International and Bollywood based programs, but quickly moved to where the advertisers are. VH1 is newer and doesn't attract advertising yet; let's see if they remain the way we would like them to! My pet peeve too! They don't play a single angreezi number all day long..thank God, VH1 offers some respite.
