All crap.. !! The only channel that we can watch is CNBC (Not that crappy IBN7 or cnn-ibn – wonder why CNN even associated their name with IBN. Maybe its not CNN as the American news channel, it stands for Crappy News Network here. )
CNBC has some interesting and informative stuff.

Reminds me of the advertizement. Tea Board of India.. definitely not a tea drinker.

I voted for Aaj Tak. I find it too loud. And its headlines like “Laashein mili Khet mein”, “Baccha Hua Ghayal” etc. are just too much. Just yesterday, they had this ‘Guru’ movie conversation during prime time for more than an hour. They had Abhishek and Ash in addition to Mani Ratnam and Mithunda but obviously, their questions were focussed on the first two and that too, stupid questions.
Actually since the last few days that I have been here, I tried watching several of these new news channels and found that most of them dont have much to speak about. They keep repeating same stuff over and over. Right down to the same video clips being played again and again. ex. the Saddam clip and then yesterday a clip about a poor farmer dropping down to the feet of a minister. Even NDTV did it once or twice.
I still like NDTV among all these channels. They have produced quality stuff in the past. Barkha Dutt especially during Gujarat riots or Kargil attack. And their debates, although they get out of control several times.

Mitesh, in fact those were the worst in my opinion. Gujarat was a totally biased coverage. There was no mention of the trainburning incident. And as regards Kargil, the soldiers said that she revealed the position of our guns by her stupidity (how, I am not sure, maybe the Pakis tracked the mobile phone signals or the Camera signals).

She seems too self-righteous to be considered neutral. Almost the preachy types.

well the only news channel i watch is BBC…the indian news channels are more of money making ventures than anything else…

worst is the BREAKING NEWS banner..that screams out useless crap most of the time..

though i still believe DD News will be untouched…though i haven’t seen it in quite a while myself

Can somebody that admired the qualities of a person directly and publicly receive such these remarks from the same person? I might have behaved a bit freely believing that you are a kind girl based on my understanding centred on your love for puppies and dogs. Is this the way you treat your friends also! I am a human being and I like to write from the depth of my heart on such things that inspire me coming from a living person with some sensitivity and pity for some creatures that are living with a bit of love for the living world with many human beings. Once go to my web site and read the stuff I put there. I spent hours of my valuable time to think and write them because it demands one’s creativity. It happened only because I wanted to entertain and educate some people that come to my site. I have been doing this for the last 16 months. I am a postgraduate in English literature from the University of Hyderabad. This is to dust any feeling of contempt or carelessness from your mind in case you thought that I studied in some crap thing to harass girls like you writing this and that just for the sake of it.
