I had to get this out of me. Reading of Goodbyes, Richard Bach, gives me an opportunity to do that. Here it goes……

Part-I : Read Bach’s love story, The Bridge across forever, 15 years back when I was 24. It was given to me by a friend and I have been looking around for a soulmate ever since. Being a lazy and laid back person, I was expecting a soulmate to find me rather than making that effort myself!

Part II: I have realized recently that the girl who gave me that book to read was the closest person I cd have as asoulmate. Now she is across continents and has a life/family of her own. I wished her a Happy B’day after 15 yrs and got a cryptic reply saying thanks and why should we get back in touch. I didn’t have any answers. Goodbye is forever!!

I have my own family to take care of! I’ve been trying to become a better husband and father now. No more hanging on to emotional chords for me.

Part III: Richard Bach and Leslie Parrish are living separately now. Yes, They have been divorced!! Their love story which actually looked fictional have been washed away.!! Goodbye to the most moving love story I know of.

Time to move away from Goodbyes, Sorry, Thankyou, Take care??!!

RV- I am touched and completely empathize with you. But life has to move on, and that is the harsh reality! In our hearts we always wish for the “good-bye” to end but sadly that wish never comes alive……
