“Whats with the Topi, dude?” - Rakhi to Himesh

It breaks my heart every time I hear about Baba Roy being the ultimate winner of Bigg Boss and not our bindas band bajao Rakhi Sawant.

But then again, on a positive note its Rakhi Sawant who seems to be gaining much more publicity and bigger projects than the Ashique boy or any other of the 13 participants for that matter.

And what really gets my fancy is the fact that she is equally entertaining, be it on television or your daily tabloid.

Check today’s Mid-Day:

Rakhi’s stance on the nose-man aka. Himesh Reshammiya.

People may make fun of Himesh Reshammiya, but he is a rockstar. He can sing through his nose, eyes or ears, but people buy his music. If some one else wants to be popular then he too can sing through whichever part of his body he wishes. I don’t know why he’s wearing a cap though. If he has less hair then I know some one who can do good hair weaving in America. But he will still be my favourite with or without the topi.

Her thoughts on Shilpa Shetty and Jade Goody.

She’s made us all proud. Even though I didn’t have racial discrimination in Bigg Boss, I also had another Jade Goody in our house in the form of Kashmera. I have gone through more shit than Shilpa has on her show. But I am glad she put India on the global map.

Ah! Such class.

What the F*** : Sachin Tendulkar scores a 100 And Ganguly is the Indian Captain

Yes my dear people, our little master has finally done it. Our man in blue, Sachin Tendulkar touched the century mark on the last ball in the on-going 4th ODI in Vadodara, Gujarat against the powerful West Indies.

This is his 40th ODI hundred if I am not mistaken. But the best bit is that his 100 mark came in only 76 balls. Tendulkar made up his century with 10 fours and 1 six.

The other man responsible for thrashing the West Indian bowlers from the other was Mr. Dhamaka who proved his worth once again besides flashing his long hair on our television screen. Mahendra Singh Dhoni contributed 40 runs in just 20 balls, thereby taking the Indian total to 341 at the end of the Indian innings.

Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid also played a good knock scoring 68 and 78 respectively.

But the Indians still are far from winning considering the pitch to be best for batsmen and looking at the strong West Indies’ batting line-up.

Another very un-nerving fact is that Tendulkar’s last four centuries have resulted in India’s loss in those matches.

So its best to keep our fingers crossed and pray that the sun continues to shine with a positive light on our team.

Ps….West Indies are 42/2 in 10 overs. Danger man Chandrapaul has been sent back by speedster Zaheer Khan. One more wicket within next 30 runs and I am taking a sicky leave and going home to celebrate.

Ps….It’s all happening here, Ganguly is the captain. Tendulkar, the vice captain because Dravid had retired hurt. And I am going home.

Ek Duje Ke Liye : Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar

Now these two really, I mean really need to get a room.

Yaar! I can understand if they barely make movies without each other’s involvement - it’s their individual decision, their money and us, the Bollywood viewer’s decision to watch their film on the big screen or not.

But what I can’t stand is watching the SRK love-gang enroching my television space as well.

Mumbai Mirror reports:

If Shah Rukh Khan can be the first guest on the second season of Koffee With Karan, can Karan Johar be left far behind?

So now Karan is all set to repay the favour and appear on Kaun Banega Crorepati. He will be shooting for the episode today as the first celebrity guest, along with Farah Khan. Reportedly, this episode will be telecast on February 11 as a ‘friendship special’.

When contacted Karan Johar confirmed the news, “I am going to shoot today for Kaun Banega Crorepati even though I know that I am the least qualified guest on the show. I have no details about how they are going to shoot the episode. All I know is that I will be wearing a black suit for it.”

When quizzed about how he had prepared for the contest, Johar said, “I have not prepared, but I have been praying. As I said, I am not a qualified quizzer. I don’t know whether I’ll be able to answer all those general knowledge questions. This is the first time that I am appearing on Kaun Banega Crorepati and I’m sure the experience will be great. The last time I attended the show, it was in the capacity of Shah Rukh’s friend when he participated in the contest and Mr Bachchan was the host. Then, Shah Rukh had answered all the questions, while I had sat among the audience.”

What about Shah Rukh being his first guest on Koffee with Karan? “Shah Rukh has to be my first guest. Always,” Karan replied.

For crying out loud, it’s more like witnessing Shah Rukh and Karan playing out the “Yeh tere liye aur yeh mere liya” kind-da love duet.
