Law Keepers are Law Abusers

We cry over corruption and appalling behaviour adopted by people who are infact given the responsibility to protect us, to maintain law and order.

But when individuals at higher positions in the system screw around with law it’s no wonder the nation is going to the dumps.

TOI reports:

B H “Biti” Mohanty, sentenced to 7 years rigorous imprisonment by a court in Alwar for raping a German woman in April this year, has jumped parole. He is the son of Orissa DGP B B Mohanty.

Jail authorities in Jaipur claimed to have received two fax messages on Dec 7 and 9 from Biti’s father – who is DGP (Home Guards and Fire Services) in Orissa – seeking extension of his son’s parole, saying Biti was mentally ill and was undergoing treatment. But name of the hospital was not mentioned.

Pathetic.
