Sexy as Julia Roberts
Okay!! Now don’t be so startled with the heading of this post. It’s actually about my princess Rusti.
Rusti (Spike’s daughter) is often compared to Julia Roberts, thanks to my sister who thinks that my baby pooch’s attitude and behavior is a lot similar to the famous actress’s mannerism - The way she sits, the way she walks with her butts swaying from left-to-right and above all her lean-mean-sexy curvy figure.
With all the attention Spike’s been gaining from everyone at home, Rusti surely does feel a little left out and had often displayed her sadness with those pair of droopy innocent eyes.
I tried to buy her happiness by throwing in couple of puppy toys which she at first thoroughly enjoyed but as they say materialistic gain do not make-up for personal love and affections. So finally today I managed to get some time-off from looking after big-daddy and spent some quality lovin-fun with Ms. Julia Roberts.
These guys are just like human babies, looking for constant attention and warmth. The past few days have made me realize that keeping pets isn’t an easy job, even if you have a big house filled with staff to look after them. They require so much more than a three-time meal and daily walk - they need us 24/7, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.
The horror of Spike’s injury is something that will stay with me life-long, a moment where I nearly lost my dog. But thankfully things are working out well and he has managed to come out of it strong and healthy. According to the Vet, he should be able to walk and go about his daily routine within a month’s time.
On the other hand, I have managed to get in a doggy-walker for both my pets through Spike’s trainer. Experienced in dog training, I am much more relaxed knowing that my doggies are in safe-hands when outside the house. Plus Rusti seems to have adjusted to him pretty well and hopefully Spike will also, once he is fit and fine.

We all have a right to express our views. In many instances; it will be against ours and in some; with us. To hear them out is 'decency' but to let them get to you is 'weakness'.

Shadows - Actually we did get quite a few ad offers but te family thinks that she is way too young and might get a spoilt with all the lime-light and glamour world. So for now, she is better off with schooling.
As for doggy food….you have no clue how expensive each and every doggy item is in India. It would require a dedicated post to put across the plight of pet owners.
