An argument with a friend last night has compelled me to go with this poll.
So if you are a Bollywood Fan, kindly do let us to know your choice.

Well it’s been proven once again that “Old is Gold” with the pair of Amitabh Bachchan – Rekha winning the battle with 39% of votes.
26% of blog-voters felt that there were many ‘Other’ better pairs than the ones listed for instance:
Anil Kapoor – Madhuri Dixit
Shahrukh Khan – Kajol
Jeetandra – Sridevi
Surprisingly, no one mentioned the third famous Khan of the Hindi Film Industry aka. Aamir Khan. He and Juhi Chawla did infact make a good pair in the younger hay-days.
And what about our Chichi baba, I mean Govinda’s jodi with the chikni kudi (pun intended) Karishma Kapoor.
Anyways no matter whoever comes and goes, Amitabh and Rekha’s glorious pairing on and off screen seems like will rock for decades to come.

Personally, I think SRK – Kajol make a lot more on-screen chemistry. Their song “Suraj hua madham” from KKKG is one hell of a song. Althought SRK – RANI isn’t a bad pair either.

Salman – aishwarya ??? Yecchhhh Thoooooooo.
Aishwarya has been made for better things than Salman. Thank God for Aish, and for finally giving her some sense.
I would say.. you missed Saif and Preity. They actually have an ok chemistry. The rest of this generation are just crap…
And of course, I vote for Amitabh – Rekha

Shadows – Yaar…tum toh Salman bhai ke peeche haat doh kar pade gaye ho. Forget personal lives, I think in movies those two shared awesome chemistry. My next favourite choice would be Anil & Sridevi….in Mr. India they were too good.

Anshul – Well like toh there will many more…so that is why I have put in the ‘Other’ category. As for Madhuri being missing….well frankly I really don’t like her.

wht about the dancing pair of Sridevi-Jeetendra or SRK-Kajol missing…
chalo sakshi ka dil rakhne ke liye Salman ko vote kar dete hai
lekin wht about Madhubala-Dilip Kumar….gustakh hw can u forget thm…
and hw can u dont like Madhuri…its a crime…:)

For me, definitely Amitabh and Rekha. But I also wanted to point out that you did not mention Shahrukh and Kajol in the list. I think they had more hits together than Shahrukh and Rani, don’t you agree??

Anyway, I cannot separate personal lives of stars from their screen roles. And yeah, fardeen ranks low cos he is a drugaddict, but then I really dont know how many of the stars do that. Maybe fardeen only got caught, and he doesnt seem to be involved in other crimes. sanjay dutt is not anywhere in my list, cos of his involvement in the bomb blasts. Also wasnt his father responsible for the slums that have scarred mumbai (i suppose he always protected them from demolition, they were his votebanks). See the scars on the face of Andheri to Bandra west as well as east,, drive along the western express highway on that stretch… and ooh i forgot, he too was a drugaddict.
As for salman, he has been involved in too many incidents to be taken leniently. He might be a good actor, a good looking man, but then I cannot really have genuinely good feelings about him.
I recall once, girls in my school (or was it college) were sympathetic towards sanjay dutt when he was jailed. And were saying “he should be released” , “he cannot do such things”, etc.
And yes, monica bedi and abu salem also make a nice couple.
