Meet the Pervert - Gursewak Mann |
In 2003, we had accusations of a serious crime of human-trafficking involving (then) sensational singer and composer Daler Mehndi. Then we had the pathetic cheapster Mika Singh’s kissey controversy involving the ever-news hogging Ms. Rakhi Sawant.
Even after the (incompetent) dude apologized to the actress/dancer for his act, he then had the audacity to actually write a song about the incident and even make a music video around it. This pathetic scum surely knows how to cash-in even on bad publicity.
And now we have another PBS (Punjabi Born Singer), who has managed to find some place in today’s news by simply following his co-singer Mr. Mika’s footsteps, literally.
Punjabi pop singer Gursewak Mann was arrested here on Tuesday following a complaint by a girl that he held her as his friend photographed her with a mobile phone outside the women’s toilet in a hotel.The girl, a resident of Himachal Pradesh, was attending coaching classes for IAS in Chandigarh. She alleged that when she was coming out of the toilet on Sunday, Mann’s friend took photos. When she objected, the two had a scuffle with her.
Not very shocking, the singer refuted the accusations slapped at him.
Mann, however, told the police his friend was photographing him in the corridor where the toilet is located. He said the toilet’s door was open at the time.
And as always, the culprit manages to get away.
Hours after his arrest, a court granted bail to Mann, who along with his friend was booked under various sections of the IPC related to outraging the modesty of a woman. Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate A. D. Gaur accepted the singer’s bail plea.
For fuck sake!! I mean how ticked-headed these guys can be. They are not even own that big-celebrity status in our country, so in what way they manage to get the whole starry-stature to their minuscule head. What makes them believe that anything that walks in front of them can be groped and humped upon. And our great justice system always manages to find some loop-hole to set these sick perverts free.
No wonder! Thanks to these freaks an old filmi dialogue still manages to hold a popular stand and I shall end on that note too.

We all have a right to express our views. In many instances; it will be against ours and in some; with us. To hear them out is 'decency' but to let them get to you is 'weakness'.

I guess these guys are trying to imitate the rappers in the US who are also in the news for these reasons.

Its very sad that you are now comparing this entertainer to rappers and Amercian life. I challenge you to review every statement from Neha and see all teh inconsistencies, she was so drunk as stated by the police and medical examiner, that she does not even recall what she did or say. Mr. Mann has consistently stated the same comment and has no track record of this behavior. Its the price you pay for being a star - as girls like Neha are looking for there 15 minutes of fame. In her police report she stated that she came running out of the bathroom as she saw a flash, she was puking in a sink from being intoxicated - its too bad people are not hihgliting these points. Maybe you should review your facts prior to comparing a credible and respectable entertainer to a American Rapper.

Jay - Firstly, the way you are talking about the whole incident it appears as if you were present at the scene of the crime. If you are so sure about these things that I think you might as well take the witness stand for Mr. Mann.
Whatever you have mentioned above…has not been high-lighted by any other source. As for the part where Neha had consumed alchohol…but then wasn’t she at a disco…so what if she had a drink or two…doesn’t mean she was drunk. Plus even the Police went on record saying that though she had alcohol…she was sober.
Let see how the matter un-folds, if he turns out to be inncocent…I will be the first to make an apology here.

I would like to point out something very important about the case .
The girl neha has gone on record saying that she has nothing against gursewak mann and she wouldlike to withdraw the case . I feel it was wrong of you to call someone a pervert just by the published crap in the media . She also said that mr.mann was present but never did or said anything to her . Please Please refrain from labelling people before the whole truth comes out..
we the fans would like an apology from you for calling him a pervert and only representing one side of the story
