Kids say the Darnest Things - Part II
Me and Mum along with my nephew Krtin decided to pay a visit to the local cafe, since the little master was in the mood for BlueBerry Cheesecake. And the local cafe is known for it. I mean I have practically tried BBC at probably most of the cafes, restaurants and cake shops in Mumbai city and by far this one is The Best.
So we place ourselves on the comfy sofa, on one end is my mum and the opposite side is taken by myself and Krtin.
Now since master Krtin has joined Shiamak Davar’s dance troop, he has developed this auto-habit of humming away most of the recent trendy songs and throwing around his limbs left-right-and-center.
And this is the end result of his addiction.
Song blaring out of the cafe’s speakers - Rock Tha Party by Bombay Rockers
(The highlighted portions fell victim to his forced energy and highly pitched voice)
Teri Toh, Teri Ta, Hamesha Yaad SataveI don’t know what your saying but all I know is that I came to party!
Teri Toh, Teri Ta, Hamesha Yaad Satave
I don’t know what your saying but all I know is that I came to party!
There’s a party goin’ on and they’re playin’ your favourite song
So girl get your ass on the floor
I don’t wanna hear no more, I don’t want no excuse
You got rhythm, so put it to use, hey!
And if you really want to get down, take my hand and let me spin you around!
Round we go, round we go
Teri Toh, Teri Ta, Hamesha Yaad satave
Rock Tha Party, rock tha party
Oye Hoye ni kudiye teri jawani!
Rock tha party, rock tha party
Oye Hoye jawani aakh mastani
Shake your body, shake yor body
Oye Hoye jawani teri jawani!
While we rock tha party, rock tha party… Hoooooooooooeeeeeyyyy!!
Hoooooooooooooooooo!
Teri yaad satave, tenu dekh dekh
Bas ik pal, ik vari vekh vekh
Mainu neend na aaveh raat raat
Teri yaad satave
Roj rulave!
neend udave!
jaan lejave!
Hosh udave raat raat!
Ik vari aaja, Ik vari aaja, Ik vari tu aaja hooooooo!
Round we go, round we go
Teri Toh, Teri Ta, Hamesha Yaad Satave…
To say that my mum nearly skipped a heart beat every time he mentioned the words, “teri toh” would be such an understatement. I am just glad that he did not bump into any of the poor waiters walking around cause, while doing his Kung-Fu moves.
Oh Yeah, he however did manage to get a few laughs, claps and smiles from the present viewers and the cafe’s staff. Though I have decided not to take him there at least for the next few days or maybe weeks.
Talking about Krtin, we celebrated his 5th Birthday on 20th of July at The Club (not clubbing kind da club) and the theme of the party was none other than Mighty Power Rangers, his latest fascination.
Here are some of the Party Snaps.

We all have a right to express our views. In many instances; it will be against ours and in some; with us. To hear them out is 'decency' but to let them get to you is 'weakness'.
