Ooops, you got it wrong. I was being a leetle bit sarcastic there. Of course, they deserve justice.

Sakshi, that was the point of my post. Ideally, the government should be looking after issues that affect people, whether they are rich or poor or forward caste or backward caste. But the politicians have mastered the art of pitting any protesting group against the aam-aadmi (or the Leftists they oppose just for the sake of opposing , even though they are part of govt).

By the way, its all of us, young people or old, that make up the aam aadmi, which nobody realizes. I recall RK Laxman’s cartoons.

Her family’s sorrow are no different to yours or my family’s or Meher Bhargava’s, Manjunathan’s or Priyadarshini Matoo’s. As they say..let start by one night at a time. Some loud voices are much better than pin drop silence.

We protest against reservations, we are not concerned about the poor aam aadmi on the streets.
Only when inflation and prices hit the roof, we protest, otherwise we are not bothered about the aam aadmi.
We protest against high tax rates because it affects us, but what about the poor aam aadmi.
We protest only when someone from Page 3 like Jessica is murdered, we are not bothered about the aam aadmi on the streets.
We protest and grumble when flights are late, we are not bothered about the aam aadmi on the streets.
We protest when the politicians play minority vote bank politics, we are not bothered about the aam aadmi on the streets.
