Nainon Mein Sapna (Dreams in my Eyes) – Himmatwala Flashback

The movie Himmatwala has a special place in the list of my ‘All Time Favorites’. And the song ‘Nainon Mein Sapna’, has it’s own uniqueness and even today can give a tough competition to all the hifi- music videos.

The whole combination of yester-years Queen Sridevi, Jumping Jack Jeetendra in his trademark white pants and white shoes (probably the only hero who ever carried this color so well), jazzed up with Indo-Western Aerobics dancing style and last but not the least, the Colorful Matkas (pots).

Ahhh…those were the good Bollywood days.

Do ou remember a similar song, “Tofa tofa, laaya laaya” from the movie Tofa? Jitendra and Jaya Prada writhe around colorful saris. I used to love that video.

Twisted Dna – Ofcourse I remember the movie and the song. I am big fan of Sridevi even today. However I feel the ultimate song of Jaya and Jeetu together were in movie, ‘Patal Bhairvi’. An awesome movie and definitely a must watch for all.

Hey any one knows who’s song is this: Akki pe talakkamma, ban gaya main ***, kismat achhi meri… Ingamma, chingamma, lakshmaiyya.. I’m pretty sure it has to be The great Jeetendra, but not really sure.. Could some one send me some info on this? mobarobber@indiatimes.com
