06-06-06 : The D Day

Now you got to be really dead if you aren’t aware that today is Satan also known as Monarch of Hell’s Birthday.

With today’s date broken down to 06-06-06, Christians and anti-Christians across the globe have been swept up in the lore and fear of the serpent’s apocalyptic return.

Although I highly doubt that anything even remotely devilish or eerie is going to happen today, I feel it’s the perfect day to enjoy some of the finest butt-kicking horror movies ever been made.

So if you have the time and above all a keen interest in the Horror genre then these are the movies that need to be re-visited.

1. The Omen

2. The Exorcist

3. Evil Dead Part 1

4. Friday the 13th

5. The Ring Part 1

And not to forget today The Omen 666, is making a rare Tuesday premiere to take advantage of the supposedly demonic date. So if you are missing certain zombies from your area, office, house…you know exactly where to find them.

Well, you can also listen to some Iron Maiden tracks. The perfect example being – The number of the Beast.

I can’t classify Omen in the same league as Exorcist or Evil Dead. Omen is my favorite horror movie. No blood, no flying body parts, no gooey monsters. Bone chilling horror from your own imagination! No other horror movie comes remotely close. And I thought it was a brilliant idea to re-relase Omen on 6.6.6.
