Britney Spears ready to Sign the Toxic Deal

Well it would be fair to say that (most) people always knew that Britney’s marriage to Kevin Federline wouldn’t fall under ‘Happily Everafter’ category. Their marriage was bound to hit the rock sooner or later. And it seems that time has arrived.

The singer visited a divorce lawyer recently, even as her publicist failed to deny Spears’ marriage was as good as over.

According to sources, the two have stopped talking to each other entirely, and Federline spent Mother’s Day with ex-lover Shar Jackson, who he shares two children with, instead of being with his second-time pregnant wife and son Sean Preston.

Rumors say that Spears and Federline are completely estranged and the latter has moved in with his friends.

War of egos between Husband and Wife…

In a magazine interview, the 28-year-old also hinted his own music career was being sidelined due to his famous wife’s popularity. “The day they judge me as an artiste, not as Britney Spears’ husband, that’s the day I am looking forward to,” he said.

A source said that the rapper asked Spears to stay off his concert at Las Vegas to prevent her from upstaging him. “It was a full-blown war of words. It was a very bad night for Britney. Kevin didn’t want Britney overshadowing him on the red carpet. Britney fled the restaurant and raced up to her suite alone, boycotting his performance,” the source said.

Barely 2 years of marriage bliss and two kids is all Ms. Britney is left with. Hopefully her future won’t be as dull as it seems now.
