Hollywood already being clogged with re-makes of old popular flicks, production houses are looking at the same trend with slightly different angle.
Check this out…
As per SMH :
KITT the talking car from the 1980s television show Knight Rider is set to roar onto the big screen in a feature film version of the hit series.
Hollywood independent producers Harvey and Bob Weinstein are steering the project through their Weinstein Co after sealing a deal to buy the rights to the series that made David Hasselhoff a star from creator Glenn A Larson.
Larson told Variety that he believed that Knight Rider has the potential to become a franchise property that could give rise to a string of movie sequels.
This surely seems to be a fruitful business move by the producers. Initial hype around the film itself will bring in loads of moolah.
So what next ? The ‘Giant Robot’ or the ‘Famous Five’.

Whoa! This should be good. All the black-car coolness minus the 80s’ see through special effects.
