y gals and guys as well think ‘virginity’ or that ‘hymen’ is so important?

i guess, just a psychological gratification.

what if after that hymenoplasty , a gal gives her guy her ‘hymen’, and have sex with other guy/s afterwards?

its all in mind, i won’t mind if my wife possess that hymen or not, its she who is important to me, not that leaf.

love and the bond between a couple is supreme.

so lets forget all that crap regarding the revirginization and make space for love and trust.

Can anyone here ever ever forget his/her first love. The first time you fell in love. Can falling in love third or fourth time, beat the experience and thrill of falling in love the first time.

Replace love with sex above, and the situation is pretty much the same. Well, its not really rigid, but its preferable that both the gal and the guy be virgins for the relation to be successful. Or the guy might be thinking “my earlier gal was hotter” or the gal might be thinking “my earlier guy was better” , when both of them are in bed together.

The point is that let people decide these things on their own and noone can classify something as ABSOULTE RIGHT or ABSOLUTE WRONG. People in the context will decide that for themselves

Like everyone probably knows, female virginity is valued everywhere. That should translate to looking for an answer in pre-history. It has been my thinking since the last couple of years that, due to pre-historic wars, men were killed a lot, leaving a lot of widows. This is probably the reason for legally having four wives in Islam. Societies were probably matrilineal in pre-history when it was not known for sure what exactly causes a pregnancy. I am guessing that when it was known for a fact that a sexual union starts the process of pregnancy, men probably started valuing virginity, to ensure that their progeny survived to the next generation. And that some other male did not impregnate their chosen woman. This primitive behaviour is repeated so many times today, when high profile celebrities become jealous when their girlfriend/boyfriend has sex with others.

My feeling is that society has been biased against women for so long, by allowing the practise of polygyny, that due to the changing demographics, the future will probably belong to something like polyandry. What is the root cause of wanting more sons? Because sons were expendable, in war. Now the tables have turned. Daughters should be more valued, as everything else, this concept will take a lot of time to filter to the people who don’t know about this.

This is quite different from a penis enlargement.

I am against the procedure.

More than that, I am against putting such a high value on female sexual purity in the first place. Especially when a similar value is not placed on male sexual purity.

If a man expects to marry a virgin, he should expect himself to be a virgin, too.

A man who is not a virgin, or who does not have any problems with his best buddies being “sexually impure”, has no right to hold his wife to a higher standard.

The argument is simple. Why do men value virginity, thats none of anybody’s business. But the fact is, they do. As Ambuj says, its a global phenomenon. Guys everywhere value virginity.
