Who let the dogs out…

Christmas is gonna be here very soon. So why should our beloved pooches be left behind in this festive season.

Look at these….

Michael Scaffidi has his basset hound Dashel wear a yarmulke while shopping for a treat at Fideaux in St. Helena, Calif. Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005. Scaffidi bought Dashel a treat after buying the Hanukkah cap and a pair of reindeer horns for his dog.

Santa holds pugs Nico, left, and Fuch at the Robinson Town Center PetSmart in Robinson Township. Pa., Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005. The pugs belong to Bob Booritch of McDonald, Pa.

Willie Stewart, 5, of Bend, Ore., gets a look at costumed Chihuahuas, from left Coco, Kirby, Joey and Cooper, before the start of the Jingle Bell Run in Bend Ore., Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005. The run preceded the town’s annual Christmas parade.

Santa holds Santana, a four-month-old Chihuahua, under his beard in front of a pet store Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005, in Fort Smith, Ark.

Santa winces after being licked by Toby, a Boston terrier, during a “Pet Photos With Santa” event sponsored by the Anderson Humane Society at the PetSmart store in Anderson, S.C., on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005.

Now if only I could somehow convince my doggies to wear the Santa hat, my Christmas would be so complete.

Check out more snaps, here.
