An open letter to Bush

President George Bush finally had a look at the anti-war vigil held outside his Texas ranch on 12th August. The protest is being handled by Cindy Sheehan.

Cindy Sheehans son, Casey, was killed in combat in Iraq in April 2004; this is her open letter to George Bush written couple of months ago -

Few lines from it -

‘You feel so proud of yourself for betraying the country again, dont you? You think you are very clever because you pulled the wool over the eyes of some of the people again. You think that you have some mandate from God, that you can spend your political capital any way that you want.’

‘George you dont care or even realize that 56,000,000 plus citizens of this country voted against you and your agenda. Still, you are going to continue your ruthless work of being a divider and not a uniter.’

She further adds on…

‘Being your political downfall will be the most noble accomplishment of my life and it will bring justice for my son and 1125 (so far) other brave Americans and tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis your lies have killed.

By the way, George, how many more innocent Iraqis are your policies going to kill before you convince them that you are better than Saddam? How many more of their cities are you going to level before you consider that they are liberated?’

The feelings put forth in the letter…are not only limited to people of United States BUT to everyone against the war that is being led by Bush and his cronies.

In reply to the letter, this is what Bush had to say -

‘Listen, I sympathize with Mrs. Sheehan. She feels strongly about her position. And she has every right in the world to say what she believes. This is America.’

He said he has thought ‘long and hard’ about her demand to ‘get out of Iraq now’ and strongly disagreed, saying a premature withdrawal would betray the Iraqis just as they are being trained to defend themselves and allow for a U.S. pullout.

I just dont understand – what this man is thinking? What are people around him thinking? What are people advising him thinking? What are people supporting him thinking? Is this an example of a man blinded with POWER and MONEY?

I agree with you. They need to get US troops out of Iraq now, because we have an urgent need to invade Iran and Syria. Both countries support terroism and Iran more so because of their intention to develop a nuclear arsonal. BOMB IRAN NOW!!

Bullshit !!

The US is stretched too thin. The military cannot support it and Bush is completely clueless about whats happening. He does not care two hoots because he does not have to stand for elections again.

The US should just clean its own house first.

The two wars in Afghanistan and Iraq dont even feature on the front pages of newspapers here. Its nearly forgotten, and soldiers are dying unnecessarily.

Ya…why not bomb Iran. Americans have bombed a couple of nations…so why not a couple more. I am sure BUSH wouldnt mind it. Afterall he is spreading awareness about ‘FREEDOM’.
